8 November 2023: San Francisco Women in Black is back, reconvening our monthly vigils to protest for an end to the Israel occupation of Palestine, an end to the bombing of Gaza, an end to US funding billions to arm Israel, stop killing Palestinian children. Dismantle the settlements. Ceasefire Now. Biden is a War Criminal. APEC=DEATH. Please join us at 5 pm Friday the 10th at Van Ness and Grove streets in SF, by the Opera House. BART is nearby. Wear black, tell your friends.
About: San Francisco Women in Black consistently held a vigil the second Friday of every month in downtown SF for more than 15 years, but it all got stopped with the pandemic and we haven’t gotten back to it. [But see above!!!] Part of the reason is that downtown San Francisco is still very empty so there are not as many people around. However, many of our members are very active in other anti-zionist activities such as picketing the Israeli Philharmonic last month (much to the Zionists’ horror) and no tech for Apartheid. We’ve talked about regrouping but so far haven’t quite done it.
We’d love to be in touch with others. It would be great to have some coordinated action.
