Peace group 2022/ Women in Black

When Russia attacked Ukraine in February last year, a group of elderly women from different backgrounds formed Rauhanryhmä 2022 /Peace group 2022.
Some weeks ago, we decided to arrange a WiB quiet demonstration in Helsinki against nuclear weapons, on the day of the two-year anniversary of the UN Treaty on the Prohibition of nuclear weapons.
We who attended the quiet demonstration, where we also distributed leaflets (see below), are of the opinion that we will continue. We have not decided to make it on a regular basis, but we are now discussing to do it around the day of Russia’s invasion into Ukraine.
