About: We wear black, if possible, and display our Women in Black Oxford banner and placards showing Picasso’s ‘peace’ image and the core Women in Black tenet: ‘Women in Black against militarism and war’. Sometimes we have an additional specific theme, but our aim is to promote the generic concept of peace. Weather permitting, we hand out stickers with the Picasso image. All women welcome.
