Farmington
Our Farmington Women in Black Friday at noon vigil is now in its 21st year and we have done a chapbook at the beginning of this past year (2023).
The vigil has expanded (having started as Women in Black) and now includes veterans for peace.
As a community group, we stand for peace, women and men, mostly older people – with the common goal of peace here in Farmington, Maine and around the globe.
Ban assault weapons, Ukraine war, and now new folks are showing up with signs about the Middle East.
